Day 01 :
Depart Nairobi for Masai Mara National Reserve

Your 5-day Kenya budget safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi, followed by a short pre-departure briefing from your driver-guide. You will then travel through the spectacular landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, making a brief stop at Mai Mahiu Viewpoint where you can take photos of the dramatic escarpment and surrounding scenery.

Continue the journey toward Narok for a tasty lunch before proceeding to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve.

Upon arrival in the afternoon, check in and relax at your camp. Later in the evening, head out for your first exciting game drive in the reserve, where you may spot elephants grazing on the plains, giraffes roaming the savannah, and lions preparing for their evening hunt. As the sun sets over the Mara, return to camp for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay surrounded by the natural sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 02 :
Full-Day Safari Adventure in Masai Mara

After breakfast, set out with a packed picnic lunch for a full-day game drive across the rolling plains of the Masai Mara. This is one of Africa’s richest wildlife habitats, offering spectacular opportunities to spot the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino — alongside zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and cheetahs.

Visit the iconic Mara River, where hippos wallow and crocodiles bask, and where between July and October, you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration — a natural wonder like no other.
You can also choose to visit a Maasai village (optional, extra cost) to experience authentic tribal culture, traditional dances, and local craftsmanship.
Return to camp for dinner and relaxation under a starlit sky.

Upon arrival, check in to your camp and unwind for a while. In the afternoon, you may opt for a boat ride (optional) to explore the lake’s waters, home to hippos and hundreds of bird species. In the evening, savor dinner at your hotel as you prepare for another exciting day ahead.

Day 04 :
Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, set out for a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, a renowned refuge for both black and white rhinos and a favorite destination for bird enthusiasts. The lake often attracts large flocks of flamingos that create a pink hue along the shoreline, alongside pelicans, storks, and many other water birds. During the drive, you may also encounter buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and with some luck, the famous tree-climbing lions found in the park.

Later, continue your journey to Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake surrounded by lush landscapes. Spend some time relaxing by the lakeside or choose to take an optional boat excursion to Crescent Island, a peaceful sanctuary where giraffes, antelopes, and other wildlife roam freely. In the evening, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 05 :
Lake Naivasha to Nairobi

After breakfast, visit Hell’s Gate National Park — one of Kenya’s few parks where visitors can walk or cycle among wildlife. Accompanied by a guide, you’ll explore dramatic gorges, volcanic towers, and wildlife such as zebras, gazelles, and warthogs. Optional activities include cycling, boat rides, or guided nature walks (extra cost).

Enjoy lunch en route as you return to Nairobi, arriving by afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, marking the end of an unforgettable safari experience with Ready Set Go Tours and Travel Limited.
